The Torch Arrived!

On Saturday October 31 (Halloween) The Olympic Torch Relay arrived at the Marina. Upon it's arrival at the marina, the Torch was blessed in a Ceremony by Chief Cyril Livingstone of the Lake Cowichan First Nation. The flame was then transferred to a miner's lantern then carried by Dawn Coe-Jones down the docks to the awaiting Single Otter float plane operated by Harbour Air.
